In addition to having an assigned full-charge bookkeeper who will work intimately with you and your business, you will receive unlimited support from our staffed CPA who is available to assist you with growth and tax related strategies. Since we combine the job duties of a bookkeeper and controller into one service we will manage cash flow, oversee vendor bills and bill payments, record sales, file sales and payroll tax forms, and provide monthly tax-ready financial statements. Perhaps your accounting department needs additional assistance, or you have “catch-up” bookkeeping and tax work? We are happy to fill in where needed on either a contract or permanent basis. Meet the Team.

Airi Barrientos


Airi Barrientos is a former Chief Financial Officer and accomplished entrepreneur and business consultant with a degree in finance. As a former CFO, Ms. Barrientos has managed monies and taxes for companies of varied sizes and in different industries, implemented accounting policies and procedures, and has managed professionals in positions ranging from entry-level to executive management. A couple of her favorite things to do is help business’s streamline their operations to be more efficient and less costly, and to integrate modern technology.

When Ms. Barrientos is away from the office she enjoys exercising with her puppy named Korra, trying new foods, traveling, hiking, and relaxing with a delightful read. Ms. Barrientos works with clients in the following industries: Cannabis, Health and Legal professionals, Technology, Education, Retail, Development, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Restaurants, Resorts, Hotel Management, Property Management, and HOA Management.


Joe Orisk

Accounting Manager

Joe is a former collegiate baseball player from Cornell College, where he graduated with degree’s in Economics and Business as well as Philosophy. After graduating he spent 6 months working at Wells Fargo in Iowa before taking a leap and ending up in the great state of Colorado.

When not at work Joe enjoys taking in everything Colorado has to offer from hiking mountain ranges to great breweries. He loves spending time with his friends and family. As an avid sports fan his weekends are filled with whatever sport is currently in season.

Cindy Konecny


Cindy Konecny, Bookkeeper – Cindy is a mother of two, a Kansas native, and former educator. With over 10 years of bookkeeping experience, she looks forward to working closely with clients to provide a peace of mind when it comes to business or personal bookkeeping needs.

When not at work, I enjoy reading, gardening, antiquing, eating too much chocolate and most of all, spending time with my husband and our dogs, Avery and Lily. Occasionally, I will sit down and watch a college football or basketball game.



Melissa is a native of Colorado and has now lived in the Vail Valley since 1993. She offers detailed and timely accounting for all of AB Financial Group’s client’s; and looks forward to working closely with each. Her dedication and experience of the accounting industry are invaluable.

When Melissa is not working she enjoy’s spending time with her family, vacationing, and attending concerts.

Chris Orisek

Accounts Receivable Manager

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Chris studied Business Administration while at Illinois State University before moving to Eagle, Colorado. Prior to working with AB Financial Group he worked as a Product and Merchandising Lead at Banana Republic.

Outside of the office, Chris occupies his time with being out on the mountains and playing pick up sports like basketball. He lives with his girlfriend and their 2 cats in Eagle.

Brendon Barrientos

Accounts Payable Manager

Brendon is a former Collegiate football player at Friends University in Wichita, KS and studied Business and Health and fitness. When not at work you can find him in the Gym or outside being active. Brendon also enjoys being with friends and spending quality time with family.

Chelsie Petersen

Office Manager

Originally from the Last Frontier, state of Alaska, Chelsie is a former Insurance Agent for USAA at the Colorado Springs office. She has her bachelors degree in business administration and she is excited to work with ABF to support the whole team to make sure the offices continue to run smoothly.

When Chelsie isn’t in the office, she loves to go kayaking with friends, traveling near and far and watching other peoples dogs while they travel!
